Matt Longabucco is a full-time clinical professor at New York University, where he teaches first- year expository writing and upper-level courses in criticism, as well as working with students on individual projects. He received a PhD in English from NYU in 2009, and attended Binghamton University as an undergraduate. Since 2001, he has been an associate at Bard College’s Institute for Writing and Thinking, where he helps secondary-school teachers find creative ways to introduce student-centered writing and reading practices into their classrooms.
