Extension Staci facilitates engaging, individualized learning experiences that promote students’ ability to tune in, ideate, inquire and connect while developing skills and competencies across core content areas.
Staci is apt at coaching readers and writers by increasing their capacity through bite-size, yet goal oriented feedback that allows them to meet their growing edge.
Most recently, Staci enjoyed a four-year tenure as a Second Grade Head Spanish Immersion Teacher at Avenues: The World School where she innovated and implemented experiential curricula across
content areas. She has over 15 years of experience designing and enhancing classroom and field-
based curricula in nuanced learning contexts from the Bronx to Berkeley to Mexico City to Zoom. She
has worked with an array of learners, from kindergarteners to adults, in these dynamic settings.
Staci holds a Master’s degree in Bilingual/Dual Language Education from Bank Street College, is an alumna of Teach For America and earned a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia
University's School of International and Public Affairs.
An avid fair weather runner, Staci runs with the sun and is hanging on her postponed NYC Marathon entry. She also enjoys listening to bilingual podcasts, fine-tuning her chocolate chip cookie recipe and awaiting the green light for safe travel to her other beloved metropolis, Mexico City.
