Grey O'Reilly

Grey O’Reilly has worked as a Lower School teacher at Trinity School since 2017. She currently teaches first grade and previously taught third grade for two years. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Grey has experience working with children in Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade in after-school classes, private tutoring sessions, childcare, and substitute teaching.

During the past five summers, Grey has worked with four year olds in
independent school summer camps in Washington, D.C. and New York City. Grey’s teaching experiences have provided her with a realistic and practical understanding of the
many ways in which students learn, as well as what kind of lessons and activities are appropriate for different grades and ability levels. Grey believes it is imperative for teachers to be enthusiastic, caring, and supportive in order to enable children to develop a
lasting sense of pride and independence with their academic work. Fostering a love of learning is at the core of Grey’s teaching approach, with an emphasis on differentiated
instruction and guided practice to facilitate the learning process.
